模具设计师,中英文口语

1)、这套模具资料都清楚了吗?

  • 是的,这套模具资料很清楚了;
  • 没有,我还有些地方需要和你再确认一下;
  • 现在,我们有基本的信息,例如:模穴数,产品材料,注塑机资料和模具材料等,但我们还没有标准件的标准,浇口要求和产品表面要求。

1) Is everything clear on this mould? ( Any question on this mould? )

— Yes, everything is clear.

— No, I need to confirm some questions with you.

— Now, we have the basic information, such as: cavity number, product material, moulding machine specifications and steel information etc. But we do not have the standard of spare parts, gate requirements and the surface requirement of the part.

2)、这个产品有没有问题?

  • 没有问题,客户很专业;
  • 我检查到了以下问题:
    1. 除了骨位以外,大部分都加了拨模角。它不会影响模具结构;
    2. 没加拨模角。我没有办法确认产品的分型面和模具结构。

2) Any question on this product?

— No. Our customer is very professional.

— I found the following problems after checking it:

  1. The draft angle is almost added except for some ribs. It will not affect the mould structure.
  2. No draft angle on the part. We can not confirm the parting line and the mould construction.

3)、模具有没有薄钢位?

  • 有,这里就有薄钢位, 模具强度会受影响;
  • 我仔细检查了产品的3D图,没有看到薄钢位,我如果以后发现了,我会立即告诉你。

3) Are there any weak steel (thin steel) areas on the mould?

  1. Yes, Here is weak steel. Mould strength will be effected.
  2. I have checked 3D part drawings carefully, no weak steel. I will let you know if I find it later.

4)、注塑后,产品会不会有缩水现象?

  • 应当没有,产品壁厚挺均匀的,产品可能会有轻微缩水;
  • 这个产品设计的壁厚不均匀,特别是这些柱位和骨位太厚了,缩水痕很明显。产品是外观件,我们强烈建议客户修改产品;

4) After injection, will there be any sink marks on the part?

  1. Should not have. The wall thickness is even. The part might have slight sink marks.
  2. The part wall thickness is uneven, especially these ribs & bosses are too thick. The sink mark will be very visible. It is a cosmetic part. We strongly suggest customer to modify the part.

5)、注塑后,产品会不会变形?

  • 应当不会变形,产品挺简单的;
  • 很有可能会变形。产品又长又薄,很容易变形。需告诉诉客户这事。
  • 产品是平板件,很容易变形。我们需要找到一个合适的浇口位置;

5) Will there be any deformation on the part?

  1. No, the part is quite simple.
  2. Possible. The part is very long and thin, very easy to be deformed ( warpage). Please inform customer about this.
  3. The part is flat, easy to be deformed. We need to find a suitable gate location.

6)、产品前后模方向你是如何考虑的?

  • 这很容易决定。外观面前模出。它不会粘前模;
  • 如果这边前模出,产品有30%机会粘前模。我们需预留空间用于修改模。
  • 我也是这么认为的。不过,我们需做一些图片,与客户确认;

6) How do you consider the direction of cavity & core?

  1. It is easy to decide that. The visible surface is cavity. It will not stick on the cavity side.
  2. If this side is cavity, the part has a 30% chance to stick to the cavity. We need to make extra room for future changes / modifications.
  3. I think so. But we need to make some pictures and confirm with customer.

7)、你认为会不会粘行位或斜顶?

  • 模具结构挺简单的,应当不会;
  • 产品扣位处可能粘行位。我们需考虑行位上加顶针;
  • 产品可能粘斜顶,所以我们需要考虑粘斜顶的部分如何分型。

7) Do you foresee sticking slide or angle lifter?

  1. No. The mould structure is simple.
  2. The undercut area may stick slide. We may consider to add an ejector pin on the slide.
  3. The part may stick on the angle lifter, so we need to consider the parting line for this area.

8)、这是不是按最新版本产品图设计的?

  • 是啊,没错。我们是是用最新版本产品图来更新模图的;
  • 我不太确定,我得检查一下,然后再告诉你,好吗?

8) Is the design accordingly to the latest version of the part drawing?

  1. Yes. We revised the mould drawing accordingly to the latest part drawing.
  2. I am not sure. I will double check this (issue) and tell you later, ok?

9)、这(塑胶料)的缩水是不是正确?

  • 是正确的,我查过了它的材料物性表;
  • 不太肯定。这是客户提供的。我会再查确认一下。

9) Is the shrinkage rate correct?

  1. Yes, I have double checked the moulding material specification.
  2. Not sure. It was provided by the customer. I will double check it.

10)、模具是否和啤机相匹配?TIE BAR间距是多少?

  • 模具可以放得进客户要求的啤机。法兰也是匹配的;
  • 我得检查一下它的唧嘴大小,顶棍孔位置以及顶杆螺牙类型是否正确。

10) Does the mould have a good fit with the moulding machine? What is the tie bar distance?

  1. Yes, it is no problem to put the mould into the specified moulding machine. The location ring has a good fit with the machine as well.
  2. I need to double check the sprue radius, the location of the KO hole, and the thread type of ejector rod.

11)、模具能否全自动运行?

  • 产品和流道都可以自动掉下来;
  • 产品需机械手取出;
  • 产品可能会挂在斜顶上,需考虑二次顶出。

11) Does the mould run fully automatic?

  1. Yes, both the part and runner fall down fully automatically.
  2. No, the part need to be taken out by robot.
  3. The part may hang on the angle lifter, so we need to consider two stage ejection.模具设计师,中英文口语
